On certain schemes it may be desirable/necessary to supplement the Masterplan
with a series of detail drawings, which will cover key elements of the
design in greater depth. This is important when an element of the project
is unique, or where a feature is of prime importance to the finished scheme.
Detail drawings may include:
* Construction details – steps, structures, ground modelling and retaining, screening and unique design elements, e.g. mosaic work or bespoke metalwork
* Planting plans – detailed specification of every plant in the scheme, including location, species, variety, size, planting and staking instructions etc.
In every instance the production of detail drawings will ensure a higher quality of finish throughout, as well as a tighter pricing process.
